The Pinewood Derby Kit contains the very basic items to build a race car.

There are some weight and size limitations, but for the most part, your imagination is the only limit.

The maximum length is 7'', maximum width is 2 3/4'' and the maximum weight is 5oz.

The Pinewood Derby is an annual Cub Scout event.

All of the Cub Scouts race their cars against each other on a track that has been made by the Cub Scout Pack members.
